Like Mommy, Like Daughter

Yesterday, as all of you know it turned out to be a gorgeous day. Unlike today, well at least this morning. Josie and I had a blast playing outside yesterday in the sun catching up on our long lost tanning time. As all of you know Josie cracks Brent and I up. She is saying more and more words every single day and is imitating and soaking up a lot of what we do. For instance, today we were going to go and meet Aunt Jamie, Cousin Jacob, and Cousin Presley for a walk when out of nowhere I heard Josie yelling at the door "Come On." I guess I was taking to long to get her juice and my purse and she was simply just ready to go already. When I got to really thinking about it, that is what Brent tends to yell at me at the door to get me going when we have to go somewhere. You know when you have somewhere you have to be there at a specific time and you are putting your shoes on to walk out the door and you forget your purse, sunglasses, the diaper bag, something and you have to keep running inside because you keep remembering something that you have forgotten. Well, I do it all of the time and each time I hear Brent yell at me "Come On." So, Josie has picked up that little thing from her Daddy. Besides, learning how to talk on the phone, paint her nails, do her makeup, and lots of other things she has picked up from me the funniest of all is...SUNTANNING. Yes, I said suntanning. Yesterday, she was playing in her kiddie pool and I was comfortably sitting in the lounge chair with my feet in the pool, sunglasses on, reading a People magazine (of course not a current issue it was an old one my grandma gave me because I do not have a subscription) watching her have a ball. When Brent got up from sleeping, he came outside to play with us. I decided to do some yard work and let them play for a while. Later, Brent goes "I know what you were doing before I got up today." I said, "Really how do you know exactly what I was doing?" He said, "Josie showed me and I have pictures to prove it." At that point, I was like crap what did Josie tell or show Daddy I did. Is she throwing me under the bus and ratting me out on something that would make Daddy mad? What was it? These pictures below tells you what Josie told Daddy I was doing while he was sleeping. Lets just say LIKE MOMMY LIKE DAUGHTER.

Eat your heart out Daddy!

Hey, NO flash photography without my swimsuit top on Daddy!

You are blocking all of the good sun.

Man, is this so relaxing just to sit here in the sun and read my magazine.

However, I do have to add here. I did have my swimsuit top on yesterday. Just to make that clear. Josie just was not sporting hers.
