What good is Easter without some good old fashion Easter Egg coloring. We got out the Art apron and away to coloring we went. Josie got really into it this year with being older. Ogdan just simply wanted to eat the eggs. The colors turned out great! Some were bright, some dull, some multicolored, but over all they were beautiful. Josie kept want to color more and more eggs, but after 15 we had to call it quites. What a fun Easter activity to do.

Cabin Fever
We have had enough of cabin fever here at our house. We are ready to shake out the beach towels, put on our swimming suits, and head outside for some good old sunshine. Both of my children love to be outdoors, so keeping them inside all winter long has lets just say "drove us crazy." We have to get out of this house and quick! We do not have much planned this summer, but I am sure our calendar will fill up very quickly and summer will be over way to quickly. So, what is on our agenda for the summer:
1. go on a small vacation (destination still unknown)
2. get Josie screened for school
3. Josie will go to school for 3 hours 2 days a week in June for an Art Class
4. get in some good exercise
5. go to the zoo
6. go miniture golfing
7. watch an outdoor movie
8. visit the library
9. clean the house really good
10. paint (well call a friend of ours to come over and paint for us)
11. teach my children how to swim
12. work on our tans
13. GO SWIMMING!!!!!
I mean not a huge list of things, but it will take us all summer to finish our list.
Summer ready our not my family is ready!

Growing Up
Ogdan is growing up faster than I can type this post. He is becoming more and more independent each day which makes we want to cry. He throws his own diapers away after you change him, gives you kisses and hugs, he even will pat your back. I have started to give him a spoon and bowl at dinner, so that he can learn how to feed himself and we all can enjoy together. He does a pretty good job at tackling this task. She says more and even thank you, which is very precious. I am so proud to him!

Outgrown the Kitchen Sink
When Josie was younger, we would give her a bath in the kitchen sink. She absolutely loved it! She had outgrown the infant tub and it was just easier to wash her up really quick in the sink rather than filling the entire tub. Well, we were washing Ogdan in the sink and Josie felt left out. So, up to ththe sink we put her. Lets just say, she has officially outgrown the kitchen sink. Sorry Josie!

Got to LOVE the Bunny!
Every year it comes time to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny and every year I cry laughing. Am I terrorizing my children? Who knows? It will we good for them right? Josie has grown out of the being scared of the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause stage, however Ogdan is just getting started. He is not very fond of the Easter Bunny or Santa. Every year screaming or not, of course a photo has to be taken. That way when they grow older we can look back and these silly moments and remember how funny they truely are.

The Hunt Is On
Every year. a very mysterious bunny comes to town. Who this bunny is no one knows? All that we know is that he bring brightly colored eggs filled with mouth watering chocolate, candies, and perhaps sometimes money.
Who could not like this mysterious creature that we have all learned to call the Easter Bunny! This year we went on two very fun and exciting Easter Egg Hunts. One at Grandma Debbie's church and one at the local subdivision. The kids were in absolute heaven. One was indoors and one was outdoors. The indoors one was only because it was pouring down raining outside.
Ogdan is not a gready little boy. Oh, no. Give him just one egg and he is good. They had giant eggs filled with cookies and such for the little kids and he would pick up one and carry it around like it was a football. He refused to put it in his basket and go and get a new egg. No, he was pretty content with the one. See what I say, very ungready.
This is unlike his big sissy, who planned a strategy herself to get all the eggs that she could. The eggs were all hidden or placed in the center of the parking lot in the grass. All the kids were at one end. She grabbed her basket and went to the far end and waited on the side until they said go. This was ingenious. She had free range to all the eggs she could grab before the kids made their way down to her end. Some other kids had the same idea that she did, but man did she mop up the candy. Great thinking Josie!
Until next Easter, Happy Bunny Hunting!

One Word Says it all "OUCH!"
This photo is just absolutely way to funny not to post. One word can simply tell anyone who looks at it how Ogdan's night was "ouch!"

Choo! Choo!
What would a trip to the farm be without some photos on the railroad tracks. I think railroad tracks are pretty neat and pictures look pretty good on them. Even though, Fall photos are the best on them with all of the different colored trees I took advantage of them anyways. A train had come through while we were there so we watched the choo choo pass and down to the tracks we went to see it depart into the unknown. While we were on the tracks, I was able to snap a few good photos. Josie was not in a very photo friendly mood. She just didn't want me to take her photo for some reason. I don't know maybe she thought the camera made her look fat or something. Well, she is to young for that.
I always have a camera handy, so by now she should be past that stage. Sorry, Josie photos is Mommy's thing. I only got a few photos of Ogdan before he wiped out on the tracks and then it was the end of railroad photos.
