Man does Ogdan keep me on my toes all the time. He was actually sitting on his butt in the toy box. With him being so short, his head did not even reach the top. Talk about a good hiding spot. I only knew he was in there because he was laughing whenever I would say "Oggie Mommy can't find you...where are you?" What a little stinker!

Monkey Joes
Since June was beyond yucky outside, my sister, Dad, Brent, and I took the little munchkins to a place called Monkey Joes. It is a place that houses tons of blow up jumpers, obstacle courses and such all indoors. Josie loved it! Ogdan at first was a little timid, but after a while got really into it and had a blast. Overall, the kids had a blast and it was a great way to spend a yucky June day. We will definately be going back again.
After a few hours of playing, we ventured to Avanti's for a yummy lunch. I love that place before heading home for some way over due naps. And yes, all of us took naps, Brent and I included.

Got Milk...Chocolate Milk!
Josie should be in a commercial or ad for milk. I do not know how my child can do this but when she drinks her milk regular or chocolate you always can tell what she had been drinking. She sports the milk mustache like there is no tomorrow. How in the world does she do it?

Fun at the Park
What says fun more than a yummy McDonalds lunch at the park and playing? Nothing. Josie and Ogdan love going the park, so one Sunday Grandma Grace and I decided to take out lunch to the park and play. The kids had a blast. After playing, we walked down along the river and out on the pier. Some of the boats that drove by where huge. Of course, Ogdan could not take his little eyes off of them. The weather this day was perfect. Not very warm about 72 degrees, so it was perfect.
Every Sunday the kids and I go to church with Grandma Grace (well we do skip occationally) and then out to eat. Usually we eat fast food, but hey I don't have to make lunch at least. I have been doing this church then lunch with my Grandma since I was a baby. So, it is considered a tradition in my books. Josie every Sunday can not wait to see Grandma at church and go for lunch. I think sometimes that it is her highlight to her week. That is because it is every week the same thing well not always the same food place.
Overall, we had a blast at the park. Hopefully we can do it again soon, however the weather will have to be cool and not hot.

Father's Day
I hope every Daddy out there had a wonderful Father's Day! We spent a nice afternoon at my Dad's house and pigged out on lots of yummy food. I do not know who made the Taco Salad kind of dish at it, but it really hit the spot and I am dying for the recipe.
The kids played on this Merry-Go-Round thing and loved it! Ogdan and Presley even joined in the fun on it. Besides that they played bags. Ogdan was really good at it. He just walked up to the board and put the bags in the hole. Forget all about the throwing it aspect.
Oh, course Ogdan spotted the riding lawn mower right off the bat, so most of the time he was wanting to play on that. What a typical boy! He loves tractors, lawn mowers, trucks, etc. you know boy things.
Then to Grandpa Terry's, where we again at way to much food and enjoyed good company. What a nice day!

Garage Sale
What a workout! I know Garage Sales are lots of work, but hey what else do I have better to do with my time during the summer, right?!? The weather has not been all that great sun wise, so why not. My sister, Grandma, and I had a 2 day Garage Sale. I wish I could say that I sold all of my unwanted treasures, but that would not be true. I got rid of a bit, but not everything. I sold about half. Yuck! That is ok though, because the half that did not sell went to Goodwill and I can claim it on my taxes next year. I made $50. Not a lot I know, but hey it was $50 more than I started with. All together the sale made over $225. Not to bad for our unwanted items.
I took only a few photos (just by luck the camera was in the car). Grandma had all 4 of the kids sitting in a row and she was teaching them how to play Old Maid. It was the cutest thing ever. A memory they will all have forever.

Yogurt, oh my!
Ogdan is becoming more independent when it comes to doing things. There are times, when he does not want someone to feed him, but he wants to do it himself. He is usually hungry when I am cooking dinner and cries and whines until he gets to eat. So, sometimes I put him up in his high chair and let him have at it while I am finishing dinner for the rest of us. Since, we do not eat dinner until 7 PM, it is kind of hard to make him wait since lunch is around noon and snack time is after naps.
The other day he insisted that he feed himself the yogurt, so I stripped him down and let him have at it. He does really good with a spoon. Well, that was until he could not get the rest out of the bottom of the bowl and he was doggie style eating. Meaning face and all in the bowl licking to get it out. I was dying laughing. What a pig! After he was done, he immediately had to be put into the bathtub for a major scrub down.
Boy, you take after your father that is for sure.
