Happy Birthday Tank!

On February 16th, Ogdan "Tank" turned two years old.  Can you believe it?!?  Brent and I can not.  We celebrated his birthday a little late with friends and family.  Brent only gets every other weekend off and Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Terry went vacationing in Florida without us, so we postponed the party to the end of February which was ok with everyone.  This year, I made Ogdan a tank cake only because it was fitting because his nickname is "Frank the Tank."  Why you ask do we call him that, well he is my little garbage disposal.  He eats everything and anything.  There is no stopping him.  He will eat until you tell him to stop or everything is gone.  He eats more than I do at all meals.  I hate to see how he is going to eat at 16.  I better start saving up for that grocery bill now.  I have a feeling my cabinets will be bare and I will broke from buying groceries.  Ogdan got lots of really neat gifts, so thanks to all.  He loves them all to pieces!

 Another wonderful masterpiece

Can not wait to eat some cake

Great-Grandpa Dave and Nash (I love this photo!)

 Look at that face?!?  Priceless.

Ogdan opening money.  Like a kid in a candy store.

Choo Choo Underwear!  He wears them everyday.  Even over his diapers.

 Blowing out the candles.

Only thing left to do is dig in and he did.

 So happy!

 Giving orders.

Watch out Ogdan has a weapon.

Cold

Nash has his first official cold. His nose is not running, but is clogged. It is hard for him to breath at times and is not like laying on his back. Nights are long since he is having trouble breathing through his stuffy nose. Hopefully it will go away soon.

Ogdan is 2 Years Old!

Can you believe that my little "tank" is 2 years old already. It seems like yesterday he was just born. Man, time flies. We have been working on him telling you how old he is and every time I laugh really hard. You ask him and he states "three" you will correct him and he will smile and say "three" again. It is really cute and funny. To celebrate his turning 2, Josie and I made him a cake and had ourselves a small party for him and ate the cake.

Happy 2nd birthday Tank!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is the day that you tell all of those people close to you that you love them. So, love you Brent, Josie, Ogdan, and Nash. Brent was so sweet and made me a homemade heart shaped chocolate chip cookie. He also made one for Josie and Ogdan. How nice! I took the kids picture and had it on the computer when he got home. It was a nice surprise for him.

Love you!

6 Week Doctor Appointment

I had my post-pregnancy 6-week appointment today. I can not believe that Nash is already 6 weeks old. Everything went well and I am released to go back to work. Yuck! The thought of getting up early, out of my pj's, and getting the kids ready and to the sitters makes me sick. But I will have to do it eventually. I still have 3 weeks to go before I am going back and I am going to enjoy every moment of it.

I ran some errands after my appointment also. It was kind of nice being able to go out all by myself. Brent gave Nash a bottle for the very first time that way he could learn before having to go to the sitters. Brent said he ate like a champ and took 3 ounces. Good boy!

I am 6-weeks post-baby and am down to 109 pounds. Only 13 pounds to go and I will be back to the weight I was at when I got pregnant with Nash.

Say Cheese!

My kids know that most of the time my camera is glued to my hand whenever there is something special going on. Well, since we have not done much but stay inside where it is warm this winter I do not have a lot of photos. Let me take that back not as many as if it was nice and my calendar packed. So, here are just a few photos that I have taken all cooped up inside. Take note of the pj's. For the last 8 1/2 weeks all we have worn for the most part is pj's. Love that feeling. Oh course, when I get the camera out my kids know to "say cheese."

First Trip to the Farm

On February 3rd, we ventured down to the farm to see how the new cabin was coming along. We had not been down since they started the siding was eager to see how things have come along. It looked great! It was such a nice day outside, however it was a little windy. This was Nash's first trip and loved it. Well, he slept most of the time. We left at naptime thinking that Josie and Ogdan would sleep on the ride down. However, we were majorly wrong. They fought the entire way because they were to close in the Explorer. So, by the time we got there they both needed one really really bad.

We went on a really long walk and by the time we got to the bottom field "tank" had had it. He wanted to be carried because he was way to tired. We refused to carry him and he hated that. He kept saying "uppy" and crying. I gave in a few time but just for a few minutes. Lets just say they both were really tired on the way home. Oh, and we moved the seats around that way they would not fight!
