Happy Fall!

The leaves are changing on the trees and the weather is starting to get chillier. The weather the last few days have been cold, as a quick reminder that Winter is on its way. In my opinion, Winter can just simply pass us by this year. Today, however was wonderful. It was not cold, but also not hot outside but just right. I just pray for nice weather tomorrow on good old HALLOWEEN.

We took advantage of the nice weather and took several fall photos of Josie outside. We tried to get the fall foilage, but was not very successful. Our trees in our yard are not really changing. Here are a few of Josie's fall photos.
Josie loves the pumpkins.

She calls the pumpkins "ball," but hey they are round like them.

Give her a wagon ride and she is good as gold.

We always knew that Josie would be famous day. She is a photographers dream, always smiling and laughing. We have all seen at some time in our life the "I Want You" poster. This is a famous poster of all time. Well, I think we may have found the new "I Want You" model for 2008. Take a look for yourself and see what you think.

I Want You

No Pony For Josie

Do you think Josie hates ponies?

What do all little girls want their Daddy to buy them??? If you guessed a pony, you would be correct. However, in Josie's case that is just the opposite. Josie we have learned is deadly afraid of ponies. Why, we do not know. We can take her up to them and pet them to show her everything is ok and all she does is cling to you, try to get away, or cry. She is not just afraid of ponies, but donkeys also. Anything that looks like a pony she does not like them. This became noticeable when we took our trip to the zoo and she proved to us she did not like them. Then we went to weeny roast and again showed us she did not like ponies. When we went to the Firehouse, I thought Josie would do fine riding on a pony since she is little and will not actually be touching the pony. Since the saddles are so large and she could see Jakob being a big boy riding on them, but I guess I was wrong. Here are a few of the photos Brent took when we attempted to have Josie go on her very first pony ride. Well, we did not go on the ride. We did not even make it fully on the saddle.

Look in the background at Josie as I tried to sit her down on the saddle.

I could not get her off the saddle fast enough. Even when I would pet the pony to show her it was ok.

Josie even after she got off wanted to leave the pin very quickly.

HOT! HOT! HOT!

On Sunday, October 12th, we ventured to the local fire department to support Uncle Bryant. Josie had a great time seeing the fire trucks, fire fighters, life flight, and all of the other fun things that they had. Cousin Jacob and Aunt Jamie joined us for this fun event. Below are a few of our fun photos. More photos to come, especially the pony ride.

I Scream You Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream

I can not believe that I did not post these photos before. At Josie's first birthday party, she had her very first taste of sugar with her very own birthday cake. So, what was she to have on her birthday, but ICE CREAM. Her very own ice cream cone for a matter of fact. We ventured out to the local ice cream parlor and got her one of her very own. She LOVED it. The pictures can prove it. She ate all of the ice cream, including the cone. What a little piglet.

Wow! That went down quickly.

Ice Cream. Yum!

I can put it all in my mouth. Do you want to see?

Yummy!
