Jacob's 2nd Birthday Party

It has been some time since Jacob's 2nd birthday, but I just realized that I never posted his birthday party photos. Josie just adores Jacob and is constantly stating his name. It is so cute. When you point to a photo of him, she knows exactly who he is and states his name. Or when we see him, her eyes light up and she gets really excited. They are like two peas in a pod, or like a tell Brent DOUBLE TROUBLE. They are each others best friends.

Enjoy the following photos.

Happy Birthday Aunt Peggy!

This photo may be an old one, but it gets the point across. All of us here, want to wish Aunt Peggy a Happy "21st" Birthday. Right?! You are only as old as you feel, so for now and forever more you will always be 21!

Happy Birthday! Love You!

Fishy Kissy Face

Besides adopting the "claw," Josie has started to do what we call the Fishy Kissy Face. It is adorable. She tries to pucker up her lips and move them like a fish would do. When she gets her fishy face going, she usually wants to give you a kiss refering to the Fishy Kissy Face. Next time you see her, ask her to show you this face. Chances are she will show you and it will bring a smile to your face.

Enjoy these Fishy Kisses from Josie.

Giggle Mania

Josie giggling at her silly Mama.

Josie is becoming quite the individual. She is always wanting to do things on her own, which makes Brent and I really sad that she is becoming more independent and not relying as much on her Mama and Dada. The smallest things now of days gets her goat and she will simply laugh her little bootie off at the littlest things. For instance, when she gives you the claw and you act scared she will laugh. When you are sleeping/napping on the couch and she comes up to you and either tickles/hits/or gets in your face she more than likely pees her diaper laughing. If you hide from her and scare her, she laughs. If you make a silly noise or face, she laughs. We have located her ticklish spots. Her tummy and arm pit are the 2 locations that really gets her giggling and if she is tired the harder she laughs. There is nothing better than to hear my little girl laugh hysterically. Occasionally, she will even let out a little snort like a pig. It is darling.

Say "Cheese"

Josie has recently learned how to say the word "CHEESE." She says it in 2 different contexts. She will say it when I am actually giving her a slice of cheese to eat and as the picture above. When the camera is out and you ask her to say "CHEESE," she simply puts on the big cheesy smile and says "CHEESE" with all of her teeth showing. It is really funny. Here are a few of Josie's "CHEESE" faces.

"The Claw"

I can remember when I was a little girl my dad and grandpa doing "the claw." Well, all I can say is all of you better watch out. Josie is now doing "the claw" and if you are not careful you may be her very next victim.

She loves doing this. Her voice is low and she comes after you wanting you to get scared. When you are shaking in your boots scared, she starts to laugh. She is so silly!

Let's Go Swimming!

All of you are probably tired of me telling you in almost all of my posts how much Josie cracks us up, but this tops all of that. For Christmas, Josie recieved the cutest toy dog, called Rescue Pets. It is a dog that will walk on land when you press a button, but when is put in water sensors in it tell it to start swimming and will start swimming without you pressing any buttons. Josie simply loves this toy. Thanks Aunt Connie and Uncle Mike. Josie pushes the button and waddles like the dog. It is hollarious. However, to top off the love she has for this little dog, it came with a dog towel and goggles. What do you think Josie wanted to do...but to put on the goggles. She actually liked them and would walk around the house with them on. When she took them off, she would try to put them back on herself. So, here are a few pictures that I could not help but laugh my butt off when I was taking them.

Like I have said a million times now, she cracks us up.

Yo, Mama!

Josie does the cutest things. She is constantly doing and trying to say things that simply just crack Brent and I up. She loves being outdoors and it is driving her crazy that it has been to cold to go outside let alone get out of our jammies. I have been out of school going on 3 days now due to the bitter cold temperatures and snow, making me have a 6 day weekend. Yeah, but neah at the same time. It just makes my work year go even longer in May. Josie loves looking out the window at the snow or in her words "NO." She can not say snow so that is what comes out of her mouth. She knows what it means though, snow and no. Her little vocabulary is growing by the minute. She says "yes" and "no" to let you know what she wants. And what she wants is a little time outdoors. Here are a few cute photos I thought you might enjoy. She is trying to get my attention while looking at the door at me.

1, no 2, NO 3!

This week has been a long week. I went back to school, Brent went back to work, and Josie started to fit over nap time. It has been one of those never ending weeks. Getting back into the swing of things after being off for 2 weeks has played a big toll on us. Josie was used to sleeping in, as was I so by 7 o'clock we have both been ready for bed. Josie has began to fight us at naptime. She will play in her crib instead of taking a nap, which makes her ready for bed around 6 and we have to keep her awake until at least 7, so is a little crabby after dinner. I am talking would rather play in her crib for 2 hours, even when she is really tired than to take even a small cat nap.

As far as the title of my post tonight, new teeth have also played a part in this weeks drama. Josie got not 1, not 2, but 3 new teeth this week and they are all molars. What a big girl! Now, reality is really setting in when she is getting her molars, and she is not so little anymore. She now has a total of 11 teeth.

I have been fighting this nasty cold/cough for about a week and it is driving me crazy. I can't sleep at night because the meds do not seem to work and I stay up coughing half of the night. At school, I have to excuse myself numerous times due to having a coughing fit. It is just horrible.

I just hope and pray that next week will be much better than this week.

Give Me Attitude, Baby!

I just simply have to share this hilarious photo with all of you. On Christmas Day, Josie had fought off the sleep for as much as she could and had only had a very short nap before everyone came over. She was walking around the basement being extremely goofy, which is what she does when she is very tired. The photo above was taken as she was strutting her little stuff around the basement after downing her milk as you can tell from her milk face.

I just think this photo is way to funny of Josie giving the camera just a little piece of that Josie Attitude.

I hope it makes you laugh as much as it made me.

Thanks to All

Josie had a wonderful Christmas as always. She enjoys playing with all of her new toys and sporting her new clothes. As for the looks of things, I would have to say that Santa and his elves thought Josie was a good girl this year. I want to send out a big thank you to everyone for all of the wonderful gifts. God bless each and everyone of you.
