34 Week Appointment

Today marked another doctor appointment. I am officially in the home stretch. I am currently 34 weeks along and weigh 127 pounds. I am feeling good still and right where I should be. I am down to attending doctors appointments every 2 weeks now instead of every 4 weeks.

See you all in 2 weeks!

Santa Parade

While everyone else was already back in bed from doing some major Black Friday shopping, Brent, the kids, and I joined my sister and her clan for the local annual Santa Clause Parade. My sister and I started taking the kids 4 years ago and have gone every year since with the exception of last year because Jacob was sick and in the hospital at that time. It was a little chilly outside, but not to bad. The kids loved seeing all of the different people dressed up in holiday attire, marching bands, floats, and of course who could forget the big guy in red, Santa.

Well, that is all besides the yummy candy that they throw out also. Ogdan was totally game for that after warming up a little to the atmosphere. He would run into the street grab just one candy at a time and then come back and ask you to help him place his yummy treats in his pockets. You could not put it in your pocket it had to be his. Even when his little pockets could hold no more he would not allow you to put them in yours. What a stinker!

After the parade had ended, we ventured out for a yummy lunch together. I have to say that while we were eating Josie cracked me up. My sister asked Josie "So, Josie have you seen Santa yet?" She was meaning seeing him as in sitting on his lap and telling him what she wanted for Christmas. Josie responded with "AH, YEAH! In the parade." Well, duh Jamie! I thought we were all going to pee our pants laughing at this response. What a character Josie has become.

What a great morning to spend with the family getting into the holiday spirit!

Happy Turkey Day!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving feasts and gave thanks for all the joys in your life. I know I did. What would Thanksgiving be without lots of food right?!? I ate far to much which was not good because my tummy does not stretch like it used to so there was no where for the food to go. Lets just say the food was delicious but got ill after I got home. Gross I know.

We enjoyed lunch with Brent's side and then supper with my Mom's side. Thanks for all for all of the yummy food. We sure ate more than our share. At my Aunt Connie's house she has a horse and of course Ogdan was in love. I can not remember the horses name. Ogdan did not want anyone else to ride on the horse and played all evening riding it or playing bowling with empty 2 liter bottles of soda.

32 Week Doctor Visit

We are getting down there now. I only have 8 weeks or less! Man I can not believe it. Today, I weighed in at 124 pounds. That is only a 1/2 pound gain in 2 weeks. In my opinion that is ok since I gained 10 pounds the visit before and I know that with Thanksgiving right around the corner I will make up for it. Everything looked great!

Fall Photos

With Christmas just around the corner, I guess it is time that I post the Fall photos that I myself took. Let me tell you it is a task to take photos of kids by yourself. It is a two person job for sure. I thought it would be kind of neat to get photos with that dried out corn and beans. Some of the photos turned out really good others, not so much. I mean I took a good 100+ photos for about a dozen half way decent ones. I guess that is what you get with kids though.

Enjoy our Fall photos by me!

Family Photos Fall 2011

Every year in the Fall the family and I get our annual photo taken. It is a great time with all of the wonderful fall colors on the trees. It is also good because we get Josie's yearly photo taken and Ogdan's 1/2 year photos. We went on October 11th and had this years taken. They did not turn out as good as I wanted them to, but what can you expect with two little kids. To get them both looking at the camera and smiling well just forget it right?!?

Take a look at the Fall 2011 Family photos only to have to be changed soon.
