Memorial Day Parade

What is there better to do on Memorial Day, but to head to the local parade.  The kids loved it, as well as all of the yummy candy they collected also.  Ogdan was in total ah of all of the tractors that drove by that he just stood there with his mouth open and watched.  He did not even want to run after the candy because I think he was scared he would miss a tractor.  That is ok, his sister got more than enough to share with him.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all you Mommy's out there!  I enjoyed my Mother's Day by spending time with my wonderful children.  There are times when I feel it is not so wonderful, we all know those kinds of days.  But they are the loves of my life and I will take any day with them good or bad.  This year, we decided to purchase my Grandma Grace a new outdoor swing for her front porch.  Hers was in bad condition and she uses it all the time.  So, we bought her a new one.  It was a great surprise and she loves it.  What was the kickers was seeing my sister Jamie and I try to put it together for her. 

My children made me a candle holder out of sticks and wire which is adorable.  I love it!

Boots

owdo not know how but in on single night my daughter was able to destory a pair of new cowboy boots.  I was not very happy since cowboy boots are not cheap.  I was very disappointed in the quality of course and shipped them back to get a full refund.  You would think they would make kids shoes better. 

Cuddling With Daddy

There is nothing sweeter than walking into the kids room and seeing Daddy laying down in bed with the kids reading them a night night story.  Daddy is not much of a reader so this is good for him too.
