I am officially Full Term!

Full-term! And still feeling good!

Today, was a wonderful doctor day as usual. Man, time really seems to fly when you go see your doctor every single week. It seems as if I see him daily, the time goes by so fast.

Well, I am officially full term! Yeah! The baby can come on his or her own now and survive on its own. All of the organs should be developed and such. What a sigh of relief.

I am 65% thinned out already. Can you believe that? Before long I will be all the way. I am also dilated to a 2! Yes, a 2! Only 8 more to go, but who is counting right?!

I am still managing to gain weight and lord I do not know how. I just keep gaining and gaining and gaining. This baby is going to be huge by the time he or she gets here with this weight gain.

Lots of people ask me if I am ready? The answer to that question is yes! I have waited 9 months and all Brent and I want to do is hold our little one in our arms instead of holding and rubbing my large tummy. But that is not what most people are really asking. They are asking if I am miserable and ready to get this baby out. The answer to that question is no! I am not miserable! Which is wonderful! I can still do most things that everyone else does. I have a little trouble getting up out of bed and if I sit on the floor, but overall all is good. The heat does not bother me. I love warm weather and when I can not stand it I simply enjoy the AC and take naps. I am going to miss those days when naps were for fun here really soon. Naps will soon be my actual sleeping time before long.

Next week, we will venture back to the doctors and have a sono! I love sonos. We have not had a sono since week 20 and that what when we could have found out the sex of the baby, but chose not to. That was a long 17 weeks ago! At this appointment, we will get an estimate of how large the baby is. Lets just pray that the baby is not to large for me to handle. This doctors visit if I make it to that day without having the baby in the mean time will be a very tough one. We will decide depending on the size of the baby if we will induce or not and when.

Brent and I have mixed emotions on being induced. We know that with it there are good and bad. We feel that it is not fair to pick our child's birthday. It is their day and they should decide for him or her self when they want to join us in the world. However, on the other hand if the child is large (9+ pounds) we feel that it would be wise to induce. Just because the baby is growing by the day and the longer her or she is cozy in my tummy they will get larger and larger. I am having well hopefully having a natural birth, so we do not want to come into any problems.

Stay tuned for more exciting baby news, as our big day approaches. You never know I could have this baby tonight. So, if there is several days with no postings, say a prayer for us because perhaps the baby is on his or her way!
