So this past Sunday, we decided we would change it up a bit and take our lunch to the park for a picnic. Josie loves picnics, so she was all for it. This is going to be the theme for here birthday party coming up, but that is a different topic. Grandma picked up some baked cold chicken, chips, a treat, and drinks for lunch. I always let her pick what we do/go and this is what she was craving. We take turns buying lunch which is really nice to have someone else take you out for a change and then you return the favor the next week.
The kids had a blast at the park. Josie especially, sorry Ogdan. We ate our lunch, Josie fed the ducks potato chips (to funny), and then we played on the enormous playground. We spent 2 hours at the park. I was exhausted!
I have to tell you this funny story regarding our menu for lunch. Grandma was getting all of the yummy food out and I knew Josie was not going to like what she did not see. She got everything out and Josie slammed her hand down on the picnic table and said in a very firm upset voice "Grandma, where are the french fries?" Grandma and I wanted to kill over laughing. When I told her we did not have any french fries, but chips instead she growned. What a little stinker! We usually eat fast food and of course she eats all of her fries first. Once, we started to play and fed the duckies she was in a much better mood. So, I guess next time we have a picnic on a Sunday with Grandma Grace, we know french fries are a must.
