Fishing with Grandma

Last weekend, we went down to the farm for the 4th of July. We had a blast! While we were there it would not be a trip without a little fishing. Josie and Grandma Debbie went out in the paddle boat to see what they could catch. While they were fishing, Ogdan took a nap in the dining fly (he took a 2 hour nap in it. Good Boy!), I floated on a raft and got my sun on, and Brent took a rest with Ogdan. That was until we heard Debbie hooting and hollaring. The fish really were not biting. Debbie was fishing and Josie was playing with her net in the water. If Debbie caught a fish she was going to net it for her. Well, Josie caught one before Grandma Debbie. Josie told her "I caught one!" She thought he was just kidding, but when she looked in the net she had one in it. Can you believe that? It was a smaller fish, but not that small. Josie netted a fish just playing around! She could not do that again in a million years.

So, if you can't catch a fish with a pole, just simply try a net. It worked for Josie!
