Thank the Lord "School is out for Summer!" Every school year as it gets closer to the end of May teachers and students start getting a little stir crazy. Students want to be anywhere other than school, well like I told my students "teachers do too!" It is one of the many perks of being a teacher. We put in all of our hard working hours during the months August-May, that way June and July we can have out fun in the sun. When I say we put in our hard work, it is true. Teaching is not a task to be taken so lightly. We put in out time at school and then bring home with us our good old homework ourselves. Yuck!
Need a little humor? Here is Letterman's Top 10 Reasons to Become a Teacher. I laughed my butt off when I read them. You teachers out there will enjoy.
