We have this little thing in our house called a thief. And by thief I am referring to my lovely daughter Josie. I have to keep things hidden or locked up to keep her from getting into things. I have locks on the pantry doors to keep her from getting food out and eating it all gone. I recently purchased a lock for the refrigerator. Can you believe that I have to lock the fridge or else she eats everything that is in it. You can leave the room for literally 2 minutes and you come back and she has already devoured food from the fridge. Well, I even have to leave my purse up high so that she does not get into it. She likes to take my cell phone, credit card, and cash from my wallet. So, before I leave the house every day I have to make sure that I have these items. The other day I went to school and went to call Brent and no wallet or cell phone. Come to find out she had them the entire time. When, I asked her where my wallet was her response was "I hid it. It's a secret and I'm not telling you." What a brat! I have caught her playing in her pockets and when I ask her what is in them she tells me money. When I asked her where she got it she says "your wallet." Yeah, the little thing had a $20 bill the other day.
So, what did I find this week. Well, she had gotten into my purse again because I forgot to put it up high and she had opened a brand new package of gum and at 10 pieces. She swallowed the pieces instead of chewing them.
When you ask her about any of the above her response is always "I'm doing nothing."
