Swimming Pool

Josie has been getting all geared up for the Summer months. She keeps talking about swimming and swimming pools. We went into town today to the library and for a little stroll with our new rock'n stroller. On the way into town, Josie said to me "Mommy, I have to go to the swimming pool." I explained to her that it was to cold to go swimming and that we would soon. Her response was "But I have to kick kick. Like that! (as she starts kicking her feet in the car)" I again have to explain to her that we can't go. So, as we get into town we drove past the pool. When of course she piped up when we did not turn into the pool. "Mommy swimming pool!" Like I forgot where she wanted to go or something.

However, her swimming pool obsession did not stop there. When talking to Grandpa Terry she questioned him on the status of his hot tub. Last summer, Grandma Debbie let her swim in their hot tub and she remembered. She wanted to use it for a pool. Later while Brent was still on the phone she told Brent that she wanted to talk to Grandma Debbie. She ran off with the phone and started a conversation. The conversion made Brent and I laugh really hard. The conversation on Josie's end went kind of like this "I have to go swimming....swimming pool...you buy it for me Grandma." We died laughing!
