This weekend as most of you know was Shotgun weekend for deer. So Daddy left to go out of town on Thursday evening to leave just Josie and me home by ourselves for the weekend. I could not believe that he survived to be away from his little girl for this long. However, he called often just to see how she was, not to check on me or anything but her. We all now who is at the top of his list now. Josie #1 Mommy #2. That's ok, because that is how my list goes for him (Josie #1, Daddy #2). He just could not say away all weekend long however. He ended up cutting his weekend short and came home Saturday night. As for his success for hunting, he ended up shooting 2 over his time gone, but found neither one.
So her is the scoop on our busy weekend and the reason there has been no posts. Even though Brent was gone it was a busy weekend without him. Thursday, Josie and I had lunch with an old friend and made an honest living cleaning Grandma Debbie's house. Friday, well we went shopping. What is a girls weekend without a little shopping. Right? We mastered Christmas shopping without all the busy crowds yet. I can not believe Christmas is about a month away. Where has this year gone? Saturday was just stressful in itself. We had so much to do. Holiday Lane Craft Show up at the school with Aunt Jamie at 10, Mary Kay open house at 12 at our friend Sherry's house (which was nice), Cousin Reese's first birthday party at 2, and to top the evening to go see Jason's band play at 9. Sunday, bake Christmas cookies at Aunt Jamie's house.
Let's just say that I was happy this weekend is finally over. I can sit down and breath a little.
