This weekend we ventured on a mini-family vacation just Brent, Josie, and I. We went to an old friends wedding. It was amazing! Very classy and first class let me tell you. Josie was a hit! Everyone wanted to hold her and love on her and she sure let them.
Getting to our final destination however was a challenge. We took the directions given to us in the invitation, however as we found out they were not very good. Or at least not good enough for us. We ended up getting LOST for 2 hours. The whole trip from start to finish was only suppose to take 3 hours. Brent did not want to turn around, so we just drove until we thought we may be going in the correct direction. We finally made it there however, after stopping twice and asking for directions, talking to a groomsman for directions, calling Grandma Debbie to find out where we were on the computer, Josie crying because she was hungry and we forgot the bottles. What did we learn from this? Bring bottles, a map, and print out our own directions.
We made it to our destination with 15 minutes to get ready. Completely get ready! Some how some way we did it. Amazing!
The wedding for...speechless! A nice Catholic wedding with a Stretch-Hummer Limo! That ride had to have been nice. Cocktail hour with open bar, waiters serving you appetizers, jumbo shrimp cocktail (when I say jumbo I mean I have never seen shrimp this large), champagne toast for all, sit down really nice dinner with wine to drink, band, you name it they had it.
Here are some photos from our night.
