On Saturday, December 11th, the kids, myself, and Debbie ventured to the community Santa Train. This is where Santa arrives in town for a short amount of time upon a train. Kids line up to go aboard the train to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what they wish for for Christmas. It is a great new tradition that we do each and every year. We have learned however just to rest in the car until the line gets close and then get out and get into line. It beats freezing if the weather is cold standing outside for a while. So, that is what we did. We waited in the car watching the line for about 15 minutes and then got out and waited less than 5 minutes in the cold to see the big guy in red.
Ogdan did not like the big guy in red one bit. He had a death grip on Debbie and was not going to let go for anything. Even a candy cane did not change his mind. Weird I know, since he loves to eat. We even tried Debbie sitting next to Santa just to get a photo and he would not even have that. Poor guy! He did think it was cool to see Santa on a train however since he is in love with "Choo Choos" right now.
Josie of course jumped right up on his lap and told Santa exactly what she wanted. She was a very determined little girl to get her wish list to him.
By the time we left Santa, Ogdan did give him a "high five." Well, it is a start right?!? Overall, the train was a success yet again this year.
