I hope everyone shared Valentine's Day with the ones that they love. Whether you went out or stayed in, it is all the same. It is a day to say "I love you" to the ones that you love most. In Brent and I's views, everyday is Valentine's Day. Everyday, we express our love to eachother just by being there for one another. When they say your spouse is your best friend they are right. Well, besides my sister. Through our love, we have the two beautiful and healthy children that is proof enough of our love for one another.
Brent and I do not purchases gifts for eachother on Valentine's Day. It just isn't worth it to us. However, we did purchase Josie and Ogdan a little something for the special day. Josie was given a new raincoat, umbrella, and matching rain boots. This whole thing stemmed from her firemen boots Uncle Bryant got her years ago getting to small. She wore the sole off these boots. So, we thought they would definely be worth the money. We purchased the matching raincoat and umbrella to go with because of all the trips to the sitters it would be worth it also. Josie LOVED them! If you ask her who gave them to her, her response is "my family." To funny Josie! She was extatic to be getting new boots. In fact the next morning, she came walking in the bedroom to Brent and I in just her underwear and the darn boots. Ha!
Ogdan got some new Cubs attire for this Summer to sport. He was more concerned about Josie boots than anything, but he liked them.
