Ogdan is almost 7 months old, so we thought that we would go ahead and try some single grain rice cereal mixed with the good Mommy milk. When Brent took him to the doctors for his 6 month check up, they asked why we have not started him yet. Well, he just is not interested. That is still true. I say this all the time he is 100% a boob man. Some guys like butts and so on, well Ogdan is a boob man. If you ask him, "do you like boobies?" he goes crazy and smiles and laughs. He still has no interest in real food. You put a spoon to his mouth and he will open it maybe 3 times for food and that is it. He spits out everything that you put into his mouth. If you try to give him more, he will suck on his bottom lip and turn his head away. He just is not ready to grow up yet, and that is perfectly fine with us because we don't want him to grow up either. However, he loves the brightly colored spoons and will try to steal it out of your hands just to play with it. This made a mess at one time because he stole it from me as I was trying to feed him. Let just say the cereal on the spoon went flying. He is very strong and I had to pry it from him. We will try again in another week or so and see how things go again. I am in no hurry!
