Can you believe that I am already 30 weeks along? Where has the time gone? Yesterday, I had another doctor's appointment and everything of course went well. I think I just about broke the scale however. When the doctor saw my weight gain this month he made a comment about me enjoying the Halloween candy from last night. We both had a good laugh. In the past 4 weeks, I some how gained 10 pounds. Can you believe it? So, now I am tipping the scale at 30 weeks pregnant at 123 1/2 pounds. The doctor looked at the overall weight gain and was not at all concerned. I did not gain weight at the beginning he said so my body is making up for it now.
We discussed the illness that I had a the beginning of the month and he stated that it could take months for the pain in my ribs to go away. He said it could have done damage to the cartilage in the ribs because I am still having minor pain. It would be severe if my cough was still around but that is gone so I don't have to worry about that thank goodness.
I am getting down to the wire now. I now start my 2 week visits instead of the regular 4 week visits. I am in the home stretch now. That means I better get my little butt in gear. I have Christmas shopping to do, cookies to make, house to clean, class to finish, maternity leave to prepare for and the list keeps growing and growing.
