We did not know how things were going to go with Big Sister and Brother. We were hoping smoothly, but you never know with kids. Josie has called the baby "Polka Dot" for the past 9 months and said it was a girl. She said that if it was a boy she was going to "throw it outside." We were really nervous about her response to a boy. When we called to tell them the news she asked if it was a polka dot and we made her wait until she got to the hospital to tell her that way we could handle the melt down. When we said it was a boy, her eyes started to water and she was sad for about 2 seconds. Then, she saw how cute he was and decided that we could keep baby Nash or as she calls him "Baby Dash!"
Ogdan on the other hand was excited from the moment he walked through the door. He was very protective of him. He had to know where he was at all times and he wanted to hold him. He had a death grip on him and would not let him go. If you were holding him he would come over and try to take him from you. It was darling! Things at home with him have been better he will allow you to hold him as long as he does not want to.
Overall, things at this household is going great. Well, that is until Brent goes back to work I guess.
