In the Land of Oz

Today, the local community was having a Wizard of Oz festival. They have a garden that is all decorated with a yellow brick road and walks you through the entire story. Jessica, Kendra and the girls, and the kids and I all ventured out to check it out. They had people dressed up in character costumes (of course none of the kids wanted to get thier photos taken with any of them), story time with Auntie Em, a scavenger hunt and more.

The kids enjoyed walking the yellow brick road to Emerald City. Ogdan for some weird reason kept thinking that the lawn scultures along the way were rides or something. He kept getting on them and acted like he was riding them. It was hillarious! It did not matter what it was he got on it. He would walk over the flowers to get to one of them and sit on it. He is a hoot!

It was a nice day outside, so it was something fun and different to do.
