Fun at the Big Top

For Josie's birthday, Brent, Ogdan, and I bought her tickets to see the "Best Show on Earth"...the circus. It was amazing! So much has changed in the Big Top since Brent and I were young and ventured to the circus ourselves. We ourselves was very excited. There was so much to see and amazing things. The show lasted about 2 1/2 hours with only one intermission. We had excellent seats and could see everything great.

Ogdan fell asleep during the show and of course slept through the motorcycle part in which he would have loved. You know where they cram in 7 motorcycles in the steel ball and ride. However, he did wake up right before the elephants came out. When he saw the elephants, I thought he was going to jump out of Brent's arms he was so excited. He was glued to whatever was going on, like they had him in a trance.

Josie kept going "Mom look...see that." She was amazed at the sites. She loved it when the motorcycle road on the wire with a girl hanging from the bottom. She kept talking about that part for days. Of course, she had asked if she could get some cotton candy on the ride in and of course we said she could get one thing and if it was cotton candy that was ok, but she had to share. The cotton candy was...$12 a bag! OH MY! Of course, they had to add a souvenior hat to the cotton candy to make the price higher and no you could not just buy the cotton candy without the hat. I asked. So, since we had promised and that was all we heard about in the first part we ended up buying her a bag. They know how to get you suckered in.

Overall, we really enjoyed the circus and next time they come to town will be going again.
