For Mother's Day for the last few years, we have ventured to one of the near by parks to have a little RNR with family. Debbie loves to go and see all of the realitives. It was a very nice day outside. Not to hot or not to cold, just right. The kids had a blast playing on the equiptment. Ogdan was loving getting really dirty. He was sitting on his behind in the rocks digging a good majority of the time. It was really cute to watch. He would then bring me handfuls of rocks and go back and get more. He did this for the longest time. Josie was like a monkey, she was everywhere. After about an hour, we ventured home for some naps since we had a busy morning with church and Sunday School.
On the way home, we stopped at the cemetary to see Grandma Sandy. While we were there Josie started to complain that there was something in her hair and it was hurting her. When I checked, she had a tick on her that was the size on my pinky nail. AHHH! Long story short, we got the tick off and for days she had a mark on the back of her neck where the tick had been. I had never seen a tick so large. We had just checked her the night before since she was playing outside a lot and nothing.
Overall, we had a blast at the park.
