Ogdan this weekend really missed his Daddy who was gone deer hunting for shotgun season. He left Thursday evening and will not return until after bedtime Sunday night. This is a long time for Ogdan and Josie to be without their Daddy. Shotgun weekend is a boys only weekend. However, this year was invaded by girls (Grandma Debbie, Kendra, and Annabelle) who were staying in the mans only weekend trailer to go see Jessica play basketball. Brent and the boys were not very happy about that, but I am sure they will get over it. Brent told me numerous times BOYS ONLY GIRLS NOT ALLOWED YOU CAN'T COME. I understand sometimes people just need to get away for some alone time.
Why you ask didn't we invade also, well we had a jam packed weekend without Daddy only to get half canceled. On Saturday, we ventured up to the school for the annual Holiday Lane craft show and out to eat with Papa Dave. Thanks Dad the food was yummy! Then Sunday, church and we were suppose to have our Christmas cookie extravaganza weekend, but got canceled due to Jacob being ill. He has been ill now for 3 days, poor kid.
