Man how the belly grows

I am in the home stretch now. I have less than 4 weeks until my due date. Can you believe it? It seems as if yesterday, Brent and I found out that were were expecting baby #2. We are all getting so very excited. We still have some last minute things to do like: pack our bags, install the car seat, put the finishing touches to the nursery, and lets not forget come up with names, but we are getting there. I have a 3 1/2 day weekend this weekend, so all of it will be done then. At least I hope it is. I had Josie 2 weeks early, so the potential of it happening early again is there, but I don't foresee it happening as early. Why I do not know, I just don't think so.

Yesterday, we had a snow day from school. Yeah! Right?! Well, I wanted to have school. Can you believe that?! I would rather have school now then have to make it up at the very end of the school year. No one wants to go to school when it is warm outside, no make us go when it is gross outside and we are stuck playing indoors. Even though I had no school, I did still have my doctors appointment. Thank goodness, to try to reschedule would have been a nightmare.

Anyways, Brent and I both lost our visit bet. We always guess what my weight is before I go. I was just at the doctors 2 weeks ago and since then I lost weight. Yes, I said lost weight. I lost 1/2 pound. I never loose weight I always gain it. Strange, huh!

I start going now to the doctors weekly, so next week off again I will go to the doctors. We will have a sonogram next time when we go. Yeah! Usually they do sonograms at 37 weeks, but because Josie was 2 weeks early and I went on my own, he wants to see how big the baby is and such just in case I would go early again. Fine with me, bring on the sono. We all can not wait until next week when we can see photos of the baby again. And before to long we will be able to hold our little bundle of joy.
