Josie's First Fishing Derby

On June 2nd, Brent took Josie to her first ever fishing derby.  They had a huge turn out with over 75 kids participating in all different age groups.  Josie caught 2 fish.  They were not the biggest or anything, but at least she caught a fish.  She was so excited.  She had been practicing for this day for months and counting down the days until the derby.  She was so excited to get a goodie bag and when she came home she told me "this is for winning 1st place."  I cracked up because she was so serious.  The funny thing is that all the kids got one and no she did not win first place, but hey why spoil her good mood and excitement.  She said that next year she is going to win and practice really hard.
