Check out my RACK!
It was a very nice day outside, so we decided to venture down to the farm. While we were there, we did lots of fun things: burning off of hillsides, golf cart rides, fishing, cuting and hauling firewood, maped out the new cabin location, but the best part of all for Brent was the shed hunting. It is that time of year when the deer loose their antlers, so that next year new bigger and better owns appear. Oh course if you are lucky enough to find one, chances are another animal has found it before you and started to feast upon it. Well, Brent went out venturing for these deer antler sheds. In the past years, he has found some pretty good sheds. Well this year was just like the passing years. He was up on the hillside looking down at something that appeared to be very white in color. His first response was "shed," but then he thought perhaps it is just trash. He was not going to go check it out, but curiosity got the best of him and he had to verify what it was. He was glad that he did, because it indeed was a shed. A 6 point shed. Meaning that the deer it came off of was a nice 12 pointer. Finding this shed made Brent really excited for the upcoming deer season. Sorry Brent you still have a while to wait.
Hopefully, we can locate more shed in our next venture to the farm.
